	Why yes, Shegufta IS moving back!

SO THE IMPROBABLE ACTUALLY HAPPENED

I'm moving back to rockville in 2 months
that means i WILL still be president next year
BUT
the people i named officers will still be officers

Here are their new positions

Adele - co-president
Sara and Nora - co-vice presidents (will most likely take over as presidents of art club when me and adele graduate as long as they do a good job)
Dominic- will still be secretary

	Testing New Format!

MURAL DESIGN CONTEST

Ok guys!
contest here!
Design a mural for our school, and decide where it would be placed.
these will be given to dr. McLeod (please first submit them to me first and i will forward it)
winning murals will be painted in the school,and in addition art club will receive supplies for the painting.

Submit these to me by January 6th (No later pretty please! i have to give these to Dr. Mcleod)
if you can please send a digital version that would be great but if you can't then please hand it to me at school.
or give it to Ms. Posey/ Mr McDermott and tell them to give it to me.


some ideas i had that you could use if you want
create the illusion of an extra hallway(this would have to be a later project, after main street main logos are done.
please remember not to use any copyrighted images!
and possibly school related (this criteria not required)

lunch meeting!

So we've opened up lunch meetings for art club (i might not actually be there at that time, as i mainly go to art club diring it's after school time)
it's opened up for mondays at lunch for those who can't attend thursday after school meetings...
basically just do art (ask mr. McDermott before using supplies tho)

New school year!

so we've started a new school year in a new school building
as you may know, meeting are still thursdays after school in room 35

we're going to actually start working on a mural soon, and due to legal reasons we can't paint directly on the walls, we need to get paper and other supplies to paint on.
so we've started planning a findraiser. one idea was and art auction, but that would invlove everyone donating copies of their art. and you know artists... low self esteem, so no one thinks their work is good enough to auction... grr.....

so we came up with an alternative idea, to host a movie! (and maybe charge an entrance fee? we're sorry...)
the movie is most likely going to be "The Neverending Story". which will be epic!more information will be coming soon (we still need to get this activity approved by the financial office)

We are starting to work on big projects for the mural club, so please start coming. we need to be as fast as possible because we'll be moving in to the new school building soon.
